Psy Talks About His Busy Schedule: 'Airport, Hotel Room, Venue, Hotel Room, Airport'

On April 22 Psy appeared on Bae Cheol-Soo's Music Camp radio program to discuss his recent single "Gentleman" and the pressures of international fame.

Psy brought his trademark wit with him to the MBC FM4U program as he openly and honestly shared his experiences with fans. He and Bae Cheol Soo began with talking about the recent success of the song "Gentleman" which Psy says he hopes will reach number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Bae asked Psy about his English language skills and what sort of studying regime he had to undergo to perfect his fluency. Psy said he used his long flights while promoting "Gangnam Style" to study, in addition to all he learned while living and studying in the US in his youth.

The singer also said that last year he was experiencing long overseas flights more than 17 times a month while traveling to various appearances around the world. He described the experience saying, "I figured out my life repeats the same pattern for a month, like airport, accommodation, venue, accommodation, airport."

Then Psy laughed, that by the second half of last year his English skills had gotten much better and he could joke around with foreigners.

The Music Camp interview came at a good time for Psy, as he is about to leave for the United States to promote "Gentleman" on April 25.

Unfortunately his busy schedule will take him around the world in the next few months, which means more airports, hotel rooms, and venues for the singer in the near future.
