Will.I.Am Song Thief: Black Eye Peas Member Admits To Using Someone Else's Beat On 'Let's Go' [VIDEO}

Will.I.Am admitts to using the beat of Arty without the producer's consent for a song that features Chris Brown, which makes Will.I.Am a song thief.

House producer Arty accused Will.I.Am of using the beat for his new song "Let's Go" featuring Chris Brown. According to Arty, the beat was stolen from an Arty & Mat Zo song called "Rebound."

Will.I.Am called in to KIIS FM Tuesday to talk about the beat and admitted to being a song thief.

 "I'm a fan of Arty. I think he's great and the world needs to know about how talented those guys are," Will.I.Am said on the station. "It's sad that it's turned into a fiasco but hopefully it's resolved because I'm a fan of those guys to the point where I wrote to their instrumental."

Will.I.Am commented about it again, later on in the interview.

"So this song by Chris Brown, 'Let's Go' ... Arty is a dope producer so I wrote this song to 'Rebound' this last year," Will.I.Am said during the phone call. "I got in touch with Arty and showed it to him, did a different version to it 'cause I asked him [to] make it newer 'cause I don't just wanna take your song and rap over it. But we did that, we collaborated."

He also said he thought the licensing issues had been taken care of. He said he and his people are working on taking care of as he was on the radio.

Will.I.Am is a member of the Black Eyed Peas and has created a lot of hits with his beats and production. He has produced songs for Nicki Manaj, Rihanna, Usher, Kanye West and many more.
