Psy Tells Ryan Seacrest, 'I'm The Happiest Korean Ever Right Now'

Before Psy released his sophomore international single "Gentleman," he was worried it would fail.

On On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Psy shared his thoughts about his newest song and his initial worries he would forever be known as a one-hit-wonder for "Gangnam Style."

"[When] I released 'Gentleman' what I thought [was] if this fails, I'm already happy enough with 'Gangnam' and I experienced enough with 'Gangnam' so if it fails, I still can be happy," said Psy on the American radio program.

But Psy can rest easy now, YouTube views and iTunes sales do not lie, "Gentleman" is a success. The video now has well over 200 million views, and the number is increasing at an incredible rate every day.

The shocking numbers have added a few more records to Psy's name including 'most views on the day of release' and 'most views in a single day.'

Psy remarked, "When I released the song and uploaded the video, it increased even faster, so what can I say? [I'm] the happiest Korean ever right now."

Seacrest also took a moment to ask Psy about his Beyonce-inspired "Single Ladies" dance number at his Happening concert earlier this month.

"I used to do that kind of lady singer parody for more than a decade when I'm doing a concert for fun and... I literally tried Beyonce 'Single Ladies' a couple years ago before 'Gangnam' came out," Psy said. "What I thought was maybe I can do it one more time so meanwhile Beyonce can figure out what I'm doing."

Psy will make his way to the United States on April 25 to continue promotional activities for "Gentleman" where he is expected to do many other interviews and make different public appearances around the country.
