2PM Tokyo Dome Concert Photoshopping Caught By Internet Users

2PM performed April 20 and 21 at the world-renowned Tokyo Dome in Japan to an estimated 110,000 fans. The show was a huge success and came just shy of the two-year anniversary their Japanese debut.

2PM performed a set list of 38 songs plus two encores and the entire performance neared four hours.

In a press release following the Tokyo concerts, JYP Entertainment sent photos of the audience to various media outlets. At first glance, they seem like nothing out of the ordinary, just tens of thousands of fans having a good time. But take a closer look, and something seems a bit off.

Soon after the pictures hit the internet, netizens realized they had undergone some rather unfortunate photoshopping. One picture in particular, showing the different levels of fans in the dome, has some exceptionally bad editing. It is rather obvious that at least one section has been copied and added to another area of the photo.

Internet users reacted to the photoshopped images with varying degrees of humor, concern, and contempt.

One commenter remarked, "Wow, this makes them look so cheap. I'm embarrassed for them," and another asked, "Why are they resorting to this?"

Even though a lot of internet users were upset by the photoshopped images, others remained on the agency's side saying things like, "Manipulating is already a popular method to cover up empty spaces," and "The empty spaces on the first floor? Actually, they did it on purpose. They used it as the bus's track."

Whether using photoshop is right or wrong, one thing all internet users seem to agree on is, if you are going to do it, better make sure you do a good job!
