A Filipino interviewer got to the bottom of Miss Universe's love of Super Junior.

On Jan. 5, the Inquirer shared a video on YouTube featuring an interview with Pia Wurtzbach, the recently crowned Miss Universe 2015. During the interview, Miss Universe discussed being a fan of K-pop, something which garnered a lot of attention from the international K-pop fan community.

In the interview, Wurtzbach laughed as she was asked about being a K-pop fan and being noticed by Super Junior's Choi Siwon on Twitter and expressed her admiration for him.

"I think I still am [a fan] now," she said. "If I hear the songs, you know... I remember it."

When asked about being a fan of Siwon, Wurtzbach smiled and said that Siwon is very cute, and that he's grown more handsome.

Following Wurtzbach receiving the Miss Universe crown, K-pop fans discovered tweets from years ago that revealed Pia Wurtzbach's intense fangirling over Siwon and Super Junior.

At the end of last year, Siwon reached out to Miss Universe on Instagram, and invited her personally to attend Super Junior's next concert.

Siwon is currently serving his mandatory service in the Korean military.
