EXO, TVXQ And f(x) Get Remixed For Soundtrack To SM Entertainment Hologram Musical 'School OZ'

There is now a new way to hear some of K-pop's hottest singles.

South Korean powerhouse record label SM Entertainment recently hit it big with their latest K-pop attraction, and fans will soon be able to hear the soundtrack from the comfort of their own homes.

The company's original hologram musical School Oz, premiered a year ago and an 18-track soundtrack featuring some of SM Entertainment's biggest acts is set to hit store shelves on Wednesday.

The album mostly features remixes of popular singles, such as EXO's "Mama" and TVXQ's "Mirotic," all of which appear in the staged hologram production and were produced by industry favorites Yoo Young Jin, Yoo Han Jin, and Kenzie.

School Oz is an original creation from SM Entertainment that uses special effects to create a performance that is somewhere between a movie and a live play.

In this K-pop-infused retelling of The Wizard of Oz, Red Velvet's Seulgi, who plays Dorothy, goes missing and a brave knight is needed to save the kingdom of Oz from evil. TVXQ's Changmin, SHINee's Key, f(x)'s Luna, and EXO members Suho and Xiumin all also star in the musical.

School Oz opened at the SMTOWN Theatre at COEX Artium in Seoul on Jan. 14, 2015. The theater includes a 40 meter long facade that surrounds the audience 270 degrees and a high definition screen made up of 14 projectors, giving the illusion the artists themselves are actually standing on stage.

The School Oz official soundtrack will be released at 12:00 p.m. KST on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
