EXO's Lay Updates Fans On His Leg Injury

EXO fans can breathe a sigh of relief now that member Lay (Zhang Yixing) has assured them he is recovering well from his recent motorcycle injury.

"Thank you everyone for caring about me. I got treatments and got much better,” Lay said in an update over the weekend on his Instagram account, based on a Korean translation from fan site exo.translate.

The ever thoughtful idol even apologized to fans, many of which have probably been worried about his condition.

“I am so sorry for making you worried. I promise that I will show you me dancing soon. "Promise.” Happy Seollal (new year).”

Lay reportedly sustained an injury after he fell from a motorcycle while shooting the web drama “Old Nine Gates,” in January. He plays Er Yue Hong, one of the heads of the tomb-raiding families. He was immediately taken to a hospital and will be going on a brief hiatus as he recovers from the injury.

Fans were of course ecstatic to hear the positive new update from Lay, and they also greeted him back a happy Lunar New Year, which occurs on February 8, 2016.

“Get well soon,” “I miss you Yixing. Eat lots, be healthy and stay safe,” and “Take care of yourself plz! I don’t want to see you be hurt,” said fans.
