Rain And Kim Tae Hee Wedding Originally Planned For Christmas But Postponed Due To Political Unrest In South Korea
Superstar couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee are getting married this January 19, 2017 but their original plans had them having a Christmas wedding. But they opted for a later date instead due the political problems that were facing South Korea at that time.
AllKPop reports that the couple chose to postpone their wedding due to the uprisings happening in the country last December. It will be remembered that that was the time that many were protesting and calling for the impeachment of the President of South Korea. But they did not wait too long to have the ceremony, and barely a month after their original planned Christmas wedding, Rain and Kim Tae Hee will be married at an undisclosed location.
The couple met while filming a commercial together and in January 2013, Kim Tae Hee's agency acknowledged that the two were an item and are getting to know each other. Now just four years after confirming their relationship, Rain himself announced that they are getting married through his Instagram page. Lua Entertainment, Kim Tae Hee's agency also released a press statement to confirm the great news, with Tae Hee saying that they plan to be good role models.
Kim Tae Hee was last seen acting in the TV series "Yong Pal", while Rain just released a single three years after his last album. Billboard reports that the single is entitled "The Best Present", and is produced by none other than Psy. Rain wrote the song for Kim Tae Hee, who he revealed as his best present as she was there for him during the happy and difficult times of his life.
When the celebrity couple gets married this January, their estates would combine to add up to millions worth of property. Both of them own lush homes in the upscale neighborhoods of Seoul, and Kim Tae Hee owns a building in Gangnam, while Rain a shopping center in the same neighborhood.
