Hyoyoung is the lead actress on the MBC daily drama 'Golden Pouch'. It is recently reported that viewers are demanding that she should step down and leave. Her current predicament apparently revolves around the controversy involving her twin sister Hwayoung and former T-ara member Ahreum.

In its recent report, Allkpop says that the 'Golden Pouch' is currently taking a break, but apparently not for reasons related to Hwayoung. However, presently there is no word yet from MBC or the drama staff on what will happen to the main character dilemma. Golden Pouch is about a genius surgeon, Han Suk Hoon played by Kim Ji Han, who met an accident and had amnesia but succeeds as a master dumplings maker. Eventually the doctor finds the true meaning of love and family.

In the post of En-wikipedia, it is said that the former manager of T-ara has revealed that the twin sisters were indeed, apparently involved in a scandal that occurred five years ago. The incident is reportedly about a member of T-ara bullying Ryu Hwayoung. Seemingly, HyoYoung in an act of defense for her twin sister, sent threatening messages to the former T-ara member, Areum.

The agency of Hyoyoung, B.A.M Company, has apparently admitted that the messages were not fabricated. The B.A.M Company, reportedly said that back then Hyoyoung was still very young. Considering that her younger twin sister Hwayoung was having an extremely difficult time because of the bullying situation, she acted drastically to protect a member of the family. The agency further added that Hyoyoung did not really know all of the details to what was happening inside T-ara. She allegedly only sent the messages just as an older sister would in this case, and with no other reason. Moreover, Hyoyoung said that she could not bear watching her twin sister suffer so much.
