U-KISS ‘ Eli Apologizes For Making Fans And Fellow Group Members Disappointed About His Marriage
U-KISS' Eli has been the subject of talking since he decided to marry a woman older than him. The idol group member has also been projected to a lot of criticism from his fans and his fellows at U-KISS for taking huge decision to marry when U-KISS is in the middle of a really productive project.
U-KISS Soohyun recently has got his feelings about the matter off his chest. During KBS 2's "Mr. House Husband", the U-KISS member shared what he had in mind following Eli's decision to settle down and has a kid. "In the beginning, I honestly felt disappointed of Eli. The timing and the way he went about weren't great," said Soohyun as quoted by Soompi. In response to Soohyun's statement, Eli felt the need to apologize for the state he has put his friends at U-KISS into. "I always feel sorry about it. They must have been really disappointed, but I'm really grateful for the supports from them and fans," the idol expressed his utmost apology for fans and group.
According to Allkpop, Eli's wife is 11 years older than him and that fact has gained various reactions from fans. Eli's wife also carries the burden of all the criticism she and her husband has to endure because of their marriage. She felt bad in regards to the members and idols' parents that have made huge efforts to see their sons becoming a star. Soohyun then comforted U-KISS' Eli and his wife to not eternally feel bad about their decision. The idol member also wants the new couple to have a good faith that the disappointed fans will return to offer their supports.
However, all of those criticisms don't necessarily make the new little family feel less joyful. On the March 1 episode of "Mr. House Husband", U-KISS' Eli and his wife shared a sweet kiss as Jun and Soohyun watching them awkwardly. The two members of U-KISS also challenged themselves to see if they can babysit Eli's six-month-old son.
