Gong Yoo Donates Profit From Selling His Personal Postcard Collection To Children With Serious Diseases

It appears "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo isn't just all about good visuals, the actor himself also has a good heart. Gong Yoo will be donating money to children with serious diseases.

Gong Yoo was recently in Taiwan for a fan meeting on Saturday, April 29. The "Goblin" actor will reportedly put all the profits he garnered from selling his personal collection of postcards to good use.

During the fan meeting event, Gong Yoo reportedly sold his special collection of postcards. As reported by Koreaboo, the actor apparently sold a thousand copies of postcards at the event.

Gong Yoo gathered a total of $3,310 selling his special collection of postcards. That is over 3.5 million Korean won (KRW).

Together with a percentage of the profits from the fan event, Gong Yoo's profit from selling his postcards will be given to a charity. Gong Yoo's chosen charity will then be disseminating the money to children that age from 3 to 18 years old with a serious disease.

Meanwhile, during the same fan meeting event in Taiwan, Gong Yoo revealed the reason why he does not have a single SNS account. As previously reported, the "Goblin" actor's explanation revealed just how much of a simpleton he is.

A fan asked Gong Yoo why he does not have an SNS account. "First of all, I don't have SNS accounts because I don't like taking selfies and photos in general," replied Gong Yoo.

"Most of the time, these services are used to share photos. So when you show a photo, you have to package and edit it in a certain manner and I don't like it because it's unnatural," added Gong Yoo. It was obvious that the actor doesn't want to put too much effort in editing photos just for the visuals.

However, Gong Yoo clarified that his reason was just to his own. He further added that SNS accounts are not just for him.
