Lee Min Ho recently won an appeal against a cosmetics company that used his image without permission.

He sued the cosmetics company and producers of his 2012 drama "Faith" who manufactured and sold face mask packs using the actor's face.

In September 2015, the company was ordered to stop the production and sales of the products using Lee Min Ho's face. The court ruled that they had no evidence that they had agreed with Lee Min Ho on the use of portrait rights, and that they infringed on the portrait rights by unauthorized photographs.

On June 27th, based on the number of face masks sold, the court ordered them to pay Lee Min Ho 100 million KRW for breaking their contract and for damages. Lee Min Ho originally sued for 200 million KRW, thus he partially won his case.
