Rumors started to circulate in social media about the famous K-pop girl group BLACKPINK to have their own Netflix Documentary this year.

On February 13, the eagle-eyed BLINKs explored a leak on Netflix and immediately shared the news online. They learned that when searching the group's name "BLACKPINK" on Netflix an "Untitled Blackpink Feature Documentary" shows up as a related title.

Curious and excited about it, a fan sent a tweet to Netflix CS to inquire about the date of the official release for the rumored documentary. The streaming company then replied "Hey, thanks for reaching out! We currently don't have any info on when that'll be released. Make sure to follow our social handle for updates though!"

Fans noticed camera crews recording their promotional events last year, working with famous brands like Adidas.

In line with the rumor, the recording company previously aired a reality show titled Blackpink House that focuses more on the idol's everyday lives and latest happenings.

The management of YG Entertainment said that the girls have been working on a big project and that BLACKPINK would release a big break that would shock fans internationally

Although there is no official statement yet regarding the Netflix Documentary, BLINKs hoped that the whole project will highlight their hardships the group had experienced to reach their dreams and make people happy and satisfied with their performance and music.

Blackpink is one of the most successful Girl Group in South Korea, gathering 740million views in youtube on their hit single Kill This Love and still counting viewers up to date. In 2018 their single DDU-DU DDU-DU has over one billion views already, shocking, right?

With fans patiently and excitedly waiting, the Idols are rumored to be having their major comeback with their first-ever full-length album.

The group Blackpink debuted as a group in 2016 just made their International Tour in 2019, with having billions of fans all around the world.

The followers called themselves BLINKs to emphasize the idea of womanhood in connection with the color pink, the name was meant to show people that the group expresses more than just being beautiful

Their first single album Square One consists of two songs "Whistle and "Boombayah" that gathered millions of views on YouTube and was highly anticipated by K-pop fans as they were the first girl group to come out from YG Entertainment the home of BIGBANG and 2NE1 for years.

Their song "Boombayah" made it to No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart making them globally known with more press release the following year

The previous tour made BLACKPINK the first KPOP Girl Group to get the chance to play and perform at the Coachella music festival before proceeding to their tours in Europe, North America, and Europe.
