In the K-pop world where new stars are constantly debuting, it's hard to stay famous with those celebrities who have been in the industry for so long. There are still plenty of fresh faces for them, new names and new projects. 

That's why certain celebrities and other K-pop stars work double-time to stay at the top of the list and remain relevant. 

Here are some of the female idols that have remained popular since their debut after 10 years, and will still be the most talked-about personalities whenever they participate in a film.

IU

Also known as IU, Lee Ji-Eun is a famous Solist. She began her career in 2007 under LOEN Entertainment which is now known as Kakao M. 

Despite having an impoverished family, IU has successfully fulfilled its vision as a singer and actress. 

She's already appeared on the following movies: Dream High (2011), You Are The Best! (2013), Bel Ami (2013), The Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), My Mister (2018), Persona (2019),  and Del Luna Hotel (2019).

TAEYEON

Taeyeon who had originally made her debut as a member of the Girl's Generation group under SM Entertainment was still popularly recognized even after her 2007 debut.

She was featured in numerous films, radio shows, as well as becoming an idol, and she even does voice-overs for famous Hollywood films.

YOONA

Yoona trained with her group Girls Generation in 2007 and made a successful debut in the industry as a K-pop idol. While becoming a star she also explored the acting world and participated in numerous TV dramas. 

She is popularly recognized in the 2008 film' You Are My Destiny,' which marked her beginning as a successful actress making her win the 23rd KBS Drama Awards and the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actress.

BAE SUZY

Bae Suzy was a former member of the K-pop group Miss A under the management of JYP Entertainment, also known by her stage name Suzy. As she rose to fame in one of her roles in a series named, "Dream High" in 2011, and "Gu Family Book" in 2013, she started writing her name in the acting industry. 

She has also starred in 2017 in a drama film "While you were Sleeping" and in 2019 in her most recent movie "Vagabond."

SUNMI

Lee Sun-mi also known by her stage name as Sunmi made her industry debut as a member of the Wonder Girls girl group's K-pop Idol in 2007. In 2010 she left the party to pursue a career in education. 

She then returned as a soloist in August 2013 with an Extended Play ' Full Moon' and' 24 Hours' which landed at Gaon Digital Art's second place. She also appeared on numerous shows and music videos: 2014-King Korea 2018-Unnie.
