On July 14, the CEO of Woollim Entertainment Lee Jung Yeop has released a statement apologizing for slapping and saying derogatory words towards INFINITE's Nam Woohyun while the latter is having an Instagram live broadcast.

On July 13, the INFINITE singer was having drinks with his fellow idol start Sunggyu and Woollim Entertainment CEO Lee Jung Yeop. In the video, Woohyun was heard saying, "You can already see my face in the broadcast," to which the CEO replied, "You're like 80 kilograms, stop!" The CEO also called the singer ugly and slapped his hat.
Sunggyu was even heard at one point warning the CEO, "Please stop it, you're going to regret this tomorrow, so please be careful with your words and actions." When the broadcast was about to end, Nam Woohyun said, "the CEO hits me too much." Then the CEO proudly answer, "Yeah, I hit you. SO what?"

"Hello. I'm the CEO and head of Woollim Entertainment, Lee Jung Yeop.
First of all, I want to bow my head and apologize for all that I have said and done during the Instagram Live stream. My words and actions were thoughtless. I shouldn't have done and said those things online, no matter how close I am with the two artists.

After I was sober enough to watch the video, I checked its content, and I sincerely apologized to the artists involved. I also apologize to everyone who was affected negatively by the broadcast. I've said some inappropriate words. I am genuinely sorry.
To all the fans of INFINITE and Woollim artists, please forgive me. To the two artists involved, please forgive me as well. I am sorry, and I promise to be more mindful of the people around me from now on. I'll make sure these kinds of things and remarks will never again occur in the future. I'm sorry."
After the CEO released his apology, fans were divided. Some accepted the apology saying that conflicts happen when drinking even amongst friends. While others say that the CEO should've not drank too much and said mindless things over IG live. After all, he is the CEO.
Woollim CEO already apologized on what happen. but still, people who don't accept it or hate that man still twisting & exaggerated the issue. I dunno, why they need to do that.
