ONCE, are you excited? The JYP Entertainment girl group is reportedly making a comeback in October! This marks four months since their last comeback, "MORE & MORE," which was released in June.

No specific dates and details have been mentioned for the October comeback. JYP Entertainment has, however, confirmed the statements are true, saying: "It is true that TWICE is preparing for a new album. We will announce details regarding the comeback schedule once it is confirmed."

TWICE is one of K-Pop's most prominent girl groups at the moment, even earning the nickname of the "Nation's Girl Group." They're also the second idol group to receive that name after Girls' Generation.

Their last comeback, "MORE & MORE," was a huge success, selling over 563,000 copies, breaking the highest sales for a girl group in K-Pop history. The song also led them to snag multiple music show wins. The song had even received hot attention before its official release, as it was the group's first comeback for 2020.

TWICE released their Japanese hit single "FANFARE" a few weeks after they came back with "MORE & MORE." The song was a hit in Japan and even went viral in Korea for the girls' adorable point choreography. It just proves the girls' popularity both in Korea and abroad!

TWICE is currently preparing for their first-ever line concert on August 9 at 3 p.m. KST called "Beyond LIVE - TWICE: World In A Day." The concert will be broadcasted through V Live. Additionally, TWICE was confirmed to perform at the 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards on August 13.

It seems the girls had such a busy and packed schedule with "MORE & MORE" and "FANFARE," yet they still prepared hard for this new release. With TWICE preparing for a new comeback, ONCE must be gearing up to stream and promote their queen's new songs! Are you ready?

TWICE debuted in 2015 under JYP Entertainment. The group was formed through the survival show "SIXTEEN," organized by the label and Mnet. The show had sixteen contestants with the goal of debuting in a seven-member idol group. The seven members are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung. Park Jinyoung added two members to the group at the end of the show, making them nine. He added Momo, who was selected for her dance skills, and Tzuyu, who was the crowd favorite throughout the show.

In 2016, TWICE rose to fame with their hit song "Cheer Up." The song charted at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart and became that year's best performing single. They gained even more success with their next comeback, "TT," which topped the Gaon Charts for four consecutive weeks. The EP it came from was the highest selling K-pop girl group album for 2016. In 2019, they became the best-selling Korean girl group of all time. In 2020, they signed with Republic Records for their American promotions.

The group is famous in Japan as well, debuting in the country in June 2017 under Warner Music Japan. Their Japanese debut album, "#TWICE," peaked at number 2 on the Oricon Albums Chart and recorded the highest first-week album sales by a K-Pop artist in Japan in the past two years. Their next comeback, "One More Time," earned them a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). In 2017, TWICE ranked third in the top artist category for Billboard Japan's Year-End Rankings.
