TWICE Jihyo and Kang Daniel Have Broken Up

According to an exclusive report from South Korea media outlet Dispatch, TWICE's Jihyo and Kang Daniel have decided to end their relationship after one year and three months of publicly dating. The reason they have chosen to split up is that they have become too busy to continuing seeing each other.
According to reports, due to the nature of their career, it was getting harder and harder for the idols to meet up with each other and both have become extremely busy with comeback preparations, which has caused them to drift apart.
"The two idols are both dead-set on their goals," said a report from Insider. "As they were focused on working on their respective albums, they had fewer chances to meet with each other. It appears that they bought that that work was more important to them now."
JYP Entertainment and Konnect Entertainment have yet to comment on the reports.
Kang Daniel and TWICE member Jihyo's relationship first went public in August 2019. Dispatch had caught the two on a date in Hannam-dong, which is near Kang Daniel's home. It was reported that the two had started dating at the beginning of 2019.
According to reports at the time, the two idols started having feelings for each other in 2018 and claimed that a fellow idol introduced the two to each other. A source close to the two idols claims that it is a senior idol that is friends with both idols that linked Kang Daniel and Jihyo together.
According to Dispatch at the time, Jihyo was seen driving her own car to Kang Daniel's home for dates, saying that since TWICE still lives in a dorm together, dating would be more suitable in Kang Daniel's home. At the time, TWICE was preparing to embark on a world tour, but the two would still make time to date and were meeting up with each other at least once a week.
It was also reported that the other members of TWICE were well aware of the relationship and claimed that they had seen a member driving her to Kang Daniel's home, and that same member went to pick her up hours later.
They also spent July 25, 2010, together. This is a special date for Kang Daniel, as July 25 is when he debuted as a soloist. It was reported that when Kang Daniel concluded his solo debut showcase, Jihyo had visited him to congratulate him.
Shortly after the report dropped, both JYP Entertainment and Konnect Entertainment confirmed that the two were in a relationship and were meeting with good feelings.
While they were dating, the two relied on each other for support during difficult times. Kang Daniel would stick by Jihyo and cheer her up when she was tired, and Jihyo stuck by Kang Daniel during his lawsuit with his former company and for his comeback preparations.
