Netizens Say That Aespa Ningning's Avatar Resembles BLACKPINK Lisa
All members of Aespa and their virtual avatars have finally revealed and netizens have noticed something familiar with one of aespa's avatars.
On Nov. 9 KST, the teaser image and clip of Aespa Ningning were uploaded on the group's official social media account. The posted photo shows the female artist along with her avatar counterpart.
Right after it was uploaded, some netizens started to remember a particular K-Pop idol from a widely-known girl group as soon as they saw Ningning's avatar. They said that it significantly resembles the main dancer of BLACKPINK, Lisa.
Upon noticing this, one netizen made a post on an online community displaying the teaser image of aespa Ningning and her avatar along with the photos of BLACKPINK Lisa sporting a specific outfit.
The netizen who uploaded the pics stated that numerous Korean K-Pop fans claimed that ae-Ningning looks just like BLACKPINK Lisa, starting from the hairstyle to the outfit. The netizen also posted the shots of Lisa taken from the 2019 KBS Song Festival (Gayo Daechukje) when the BLACKPINK member wore glittery apparel with abstract prints.
The netizen also pointed out that the outfit BLACKPINK Lisa sported that time is actually a one-piece dress, which was then altered into a two-piece, and ae-Ningning's attire seems outstandingly similar to that of Lisa's.
Apart from the costume, it can be clearly seen that Ningning's avatar also has full bangs, which is one of the things that BLACKPINK Lisa is well-known for. Plus, the virtual character has long hair, which Lisa has in the previous years.
Several netizens left comments like:
"Isn't it a coincidence that it's a reformed outfit? But what makes it more like a coincidence is that even the beads' pattern resembles that of Lisa's. I think it is plagiarism."

In other news, Ningning is the third member that was revealed to be part of SM Entertainment's new girl group aespa. Her profile photos were uploaded on Oct. 29 on aespa's official SNS. Upon unveiling her pictures to the public, fans said that she resembles TWICE's Nayeon and Weki Meki's Doyeon.
According to the agency, Aespa Ningning is an 18-year-old Chinese with excellent vocal skills. Not to mention, Ningning showcased her powerful vocal abilities through the teaser clip, which was dropped on Nov.9
In addition, aespa Ningning is the youngest member of SM's new girl group. She was introduced as a member of the trainee team SM ROOKIES on September 19, 2016.
Meanwhile, aespa is set to debut with its single titled 'Black Mamba' on November 17.
