Dancers Who Worked with BTOB for Years Reveal Members' Personalities
The director and main choreographer of a certain dance crew revealed what BTOB members are really like off-camera.
In a recent video uploaded on "Cha Hyun Seung TV" YouTube channel, dancer Chan Hyun Seung invited some of his close friends, who are also dancers, to answer fan-sent questions with regard to working with K-Pop idols like BTOB. Director Lee Jang of a dance crew called "BornBlack" and the team's main choreographer Jin Jae described BTOB members during the talk, revealing their impressions of the boys.
Lee Jang shared that he started working with the boy band when BTOB was promoting the album "Brother Act." through its title track "Missing You." He said that it was also the point when "BornBlack" was formed. As for Jin Jae, he revealed that he participated in BTOB songs since "Wow" (2012) and "Beep Beep" (2014).
Lee went on to disclose his general impressions of BTOB members. He stated that Changsub and Eunkwang are extremely polite yet crazy, while Minhyuk is the calm and collected member. Also, according to him, Peniel is courteous as well but has the habit of acting like he doesn't understand when he's in an unfavorable situation.
The director of the dance crew then revealed that although Minhyuk used to be full of passion before he enlisted in the military, the idol seemed to have lost his old passion for practicing since he was discharged. Lee continued and described Sungjae as the craziest member, while Ilhoon is someone who has a very bright, kind, and calm attitude. Last but not least, he said that Hyunsik is a strong drinker.
Apart from unveiling BTOB members' true personalities, Lee Jang and Jin Jae also talked about particular situations when they were thankful toward the boy band. Jang first shared that during BTOB 4U's final stage, Changsub called out the names of the dance teams that worked with them, which the group usually does.
He added, "The members always come and greet us first as well. Even if we are waiting for the performance in a different room with the door closed, they would knock and come in, and take care of us, asking if we have had coffee yet."
However, Chang Seung Hyun added that those days were when Changsub kept on ignoring his calls whenever he would contact him to work out. Lee Jang commented, "Isn't it that your job is to make sure he works out?" Lastly, Lee shared one of his favorite times with the BTOB members. He said that one time when the group held a certain concert in Busan, all of the dancers were invited to eat out after the event. "Changsub wanted to treat us so he got the company's vice president to give him allowance or something, and we feast on a ton of food."
BTOB members are known for their hilarious personalities, especially Eunkwang, Changsub, and Sungjae. Also, the boy group is known for their comical poses when walking down the red carpet together. And from time to time, fans and netizens can notice the idols' good manners toward other artists.
