Some of Lovelyz and Golden Child members have teamed up for a new song that will be released ahead of Christmas this year.

On Dec. 22, Woollim Entertainment has dropped a poster, revealing that Lovelyz's Baby Soul and Sujeong have joined forces with Golden Child's TAG and Joochan for a collaboration track titled "Under the Sky of Suncheon." In the poster, the female and male idols sit together on a wooden bench with a wide field of reeds and a green mountain as the backdrop.

"Under the Sky of Suncheon" is said to be about a warm love story and will feature a perfect combination of musical voices of Baby Soul, Sujeong, and Joochan and the emotional rap of TAG. Also, the song's lyrics will be accompanied by an acoustic guitar that will be played by Lovelyz's Sujeong. The collaboration track is set to be out on Dec. 24 at noon KST.

Previously, the four idols collaborated for the show "Sing Street Suncheon Autumn Picnic Live" that was broadcast via Seezn last November. Because of the idol's voices going well with each other, many fans have been asking to hear more from them.

Ahead of the collaboration single "Under the Sky of Suncheon," Lovelyz and Golden Child have already launched new music in the previous months. Last September, Lovelyz's seventh extended play titled "Unforgettable" was dropped along with the music video for the lead single "Obliviate." It contains six songs, including "Obliviate," in which Lovelyz's Sujeong participated in writing the lyrics.

The title of the song means a spell that removes bad memories, and in the track, the female act expresses their mournful desire to get rid of painful love. "Obliviate" is the first EP of Lovelyz after more than one year since their sixth EP "Once Upon a Time" in May 2019. In addition, the EP "Unforgettable" marks the group's first release following their participation in Mnet's "Queendom" that aired from August to October 2019.

Meanwhile, Golden Child had a busy schedule this year. After wrapping up their first solo concert "Future and Past" last January, the boy band released the repackaged version of their first studio album titled "Without You." Two months later, Golden Child participated in Mnet's reality television competition "Road to Kingdom."

In June, the male group launched its fourth extended play, "Take a Leap," which consists of seven tracks including the title track "One (Lucid Dream)." In September, Golden Child held an online concert via Naver's NOW, then after a month, the band launched its second single album "Pump It Up," which comprises three songs including the title track of the same name.

On Dec. 18, it was revealed that Golden Child's Jaehyun tested positive for COVID-19 while the other members received negative test results. Since then, Jaehyun stayed in an assigned facility while the remaining members were in self-quarantine.
