The Cosmic Girls (WJSN) lead vocalist recently appeared on the YouTube channel, "Audition for All," a web entertainment show led by singer and MC Nada.

In the interview, she shared adorable stories during her trainee days, as well as some interesting facts and TMIs about herself. The female idol also shared the true nature of this boy group, revealing of how they reacted when they passed by her when she was crying.

Dayoung Recalls How MONSTA X Took Care of Her When She Was Still a Trainee

The boy group that Dayoung mentioned is none other than MONSTA X!

Specifically, Cosmic Girls, who debuted under Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment in 2016, is the junior of MONSTA X, which was launched by Starship in 2015.

In the web show, "Sofa Away," Nada asked WJSN's Dayoung why she shed tears when she was a trainee.

She then confessed, "When I was a trainee, I am clueless and naive. I was so young that I was thankful that the other members didn't hit me."

The second youngest member then shared one scenario when their leader, Exy, who was also the leader of the trainees back then scolded her in the bathroom for being so naive.

She started shedding tears then and Exy consoled her afterward. But when she left the restroom, her tears wouldn't stop from rolling down her cheeks, and MONSTA X, who saw her in that state, began yo worry about her and asked: "Daughter, why are you crying?" acting like fathers who saw their child.

Dayoung explained that when MONSTA X were still trainees, she was so young back then that they used to treat her like their daughter.

To make her stop crying, the senior members also offered Dayoung a vegetable cracker, and that made her stop crying as her young heart was immediately lured by the snack.

MONSTA X shared the snacks with Dayoung in the male trainees' studio, concluding the short yet sweet story with Exy catching her eating snacks after just being scolded.

Viewers who watched the broadcast responded, "You received a lot of love from MONSTA X," adding, "I envy Dayoung again and again."

On the same show, Dayoung described Exy as cold in a positive way. Her coldness is perfect for a leader, but she sympathized with her back then during their trainee days.

She revealed that she was only a trainee as well, but she was being told to look after other trainees. This posed a positive effect on her, nevertheless: to build the members' trust in Exy.

Cosmic Girls, or also known as WJSN, is a 13-member group who debuted in 2016.
