According to a big data analysis of girl group brand reputation in February, BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, and MAMAMOO topped the list! Read on to see the top 30!

On Feb. 12, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed the most popular girl groups for the month of February! Among numerous girl groups in the music scene, BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, MAMAMOO, TWICE, and IZ*ONE proved that they are the leading third-generation girl groups as they dominated the top 5.

Along with them, rookie groups such as aespa, PIXY, STAYC, Weeekly, and more are also showing off their potential to be the next leader girl groups of the fourth-generation of K-pop after entering the top 30!

In particular, the Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 38,382,504 brand big data measured from Jan. 12, 2021, to Feb. 12, 2021, to determine the brand reputation index, which includes the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.

Aside from the Top 30 rankings, the result says that compared to 42,652,998 girl group brands in January, it decreased by 10.01%.

Meanwhile, for those who are not familiar with the monthly ranking, the brand reputation index is an indicator created by analyzing brand big data by finding that consumers' online habits have a significant impact on brand consumption. The reputation index of girl groups' brands can measure positive assessment of girl groups, media interest, and consumers' interest and communication. An analysis of brand monitors by 100 brand reputation editors was included.

As an aftermath of the quartet's successful online live concert on Jan. 31, BLACKPINK comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa came at No. 1 with a brand reputation index of 4,727,078.

The group's participation index is 380,868, a media index of 1,168,120, communication Index of 1,772,067, community Index of 1,406,023.

In comparison to their previous month's brand reputation index, they recorded a 1.91 percent rise in their overall reputation index.

 Compared to the 4,695,457 brand reputation index in January, it rose 1.91 percent.

Trailing behind BLACKPINK is (G)I-DLE, who's following their victorious comeback with their fourth mini-album, "I burn."

Its lead track, "Hwaa," gained a positive response from K-pop enthusiasts, earning 10 trophies, including three crowns from "M Countdown," and double crown from "Show! Music Core," as well as in "Inkigayo."

Their brand reputation index shows an impressive rise of 18.87 percent, implying that from 2,973,921, they now recorded a total of 3,535,118 brand index.

This include their participation index of 373,252, media index of 771,600, communication Index of 1,245,557, and community Index of 1,144,710.

Following (G)I-DLE is MAMAMOO with a 3,230,068 brand reputation index. The group received massive attention as the fans are focused if the members will all renew their contract with RBW Entertainment after seven years.

While Solar and Moonbyul affirmed on Jan.21 that they would stay on their nest for the following years, Hwasa and Wheein drew the interest of both media and fans if they will renew or proceed on their next agency to pursue their solo careers.

As for the fourth and fifth places, TWICE and IZ*ONE claimed the spots, respectively, with a brand reputation index of 3,094,765 and 2,727,092.
