BIGBANG Daesung is the Person Behind an Anonymous YouTuber Since July 2020 + Taeyang Hints Prior Revelation

After missing in action for a year now since his military discharge, BIGBANG Daesung turned out to be communicating with his fans anonymously through the video platform YouTube.

According to a report by SpoTV News on March 11, a member of BIGBANG, Daesung has been working as a YouTuber since June 25 last year, opening a personal YouTube channel and continuously uploading content for about eight months.

However, what makes it more shocking is that no signs related to BIGBANG Daesung were found in the account, aside from playing songs of BIGBANG and co-labelmates BLACKPINK and WINNER.

In particular, Daesung continues his hobby of playing drums and recording them without showing his face. The YouTube Channel named "D'splay" has been regularly uploading videos with about 80 subscribers, proving his humble start.

Undoubtedly, as soon as his channel was revealed to the public, it now amasses more than 42,000 subscribers as of 6 pm KST, and the count is still increasing as of press.

The main content of the icon's YouTube channel was divided into four playlists, which includes self-dubbing videos, drum covers, and separate for English and Japanese foreign words educational video using lego.

Meanwhile, his love for his group BIGBANG is certain, as Daesung's first three posts feature the group's track, "Bad Boy" and "Good Boy," as well as G-Dragon's "Crooked."

He also covered the tracks of his co- YG Entertainment artists, including BLACKPINK's "KILL THIS LOVE," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," and "Playing with Fire," Along with WINNER's "Love Me Love Me" and Mino's "Run Away."

In particular, Daesung and their fandom V.I.P showed an unrelenting relationship as, despite some fans who are aware it's him, they acted as if they don't know and left comments such as, "You look familiar."

ln response, Daesung says, "I'm shy to reveal my front face" and "I'm a no-public rapper."

Although his face is not directly revealed, fans can recognize Daesung's voice familiar to the public with various hit songs, and the drum video also shows his profile.

While Daesung's own filming and editing contents are giving a small update, fans are also showing their expectations for Daesung, who will return as a singer, drawing attention.

In context, when fans asked if there are any updates about their co-member Daesung which is the least active member both on social media and broadcast after his discharge, Taeyang would only answer, "D'splay."

Several fans thought that the latter was only playing jokes with them, but it turned out that Taeyang is actually giving hints about Daesung's YouTube channel's name!
