According to Celebrity Net Worth, RM has a total net worth of $20 million, just like most of his bandmates. Just like his co-members, the BTS leader has accumulated a large sum of wealth from the activities of the group, which include their concerts, albums and endorsements.

Aside from that, reports suggested that RM has also been earning a lot of cash for his talent in song writing. As a matter of fact, the BTS member, who is one of the youngest members of Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA), has more than 130 songs credited to his name.

BTS member RM has two solo mixtapes titled "Mono" and "RM." The K-pop star even revealed a solo mixtape after he collaborated with American rapper Warren G. One of his tracks was even used as the official Korean soundtrack of the "Fantastic Four" movie.

BTS RM Says He Was Shocked by Group's Grammy Nomination

Meanwhile, BTS member RM shared, during a recent appearance on the KBS 2TV special "Let's BTS," his thoughts on the band's nomination and performance at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards. The group leader said that it was the most surprising moment of his life.

BTS RM claimed he did not expect to be nominated in the main categories. This is why he almost threw his phone after learning that "Dynamite" was recognized by the award-giving body.

RM added that their parents could not believe when they first came on the news. BTS member J-Hope even shared that he, too, was shocked, especially since his grandmother talked about it.

Most, if not all, ARMYs can recall that BTS was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their chart-topping song titled "Dynamite." The K-pop group was pitted against Taylor Swift and Bon Iver with "Exile," Justin Bieber and Quavo for "Intentions," Dua Lipa, Bad Bunnyy, J Balvin and Tainy with "UN DIA (ONE DAY)" and Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for "Rain on Me," which was also proclaimed as the winner.

Though they failed to bring home a trophy, BTS was given a chance to perform during the 2021 GRAMMY Awards, which was held on March 14. Jimin revealed that he thought the group would perform first but it turned out that they were the last one to hit the stage.
