Brad Pitt Celebrates Angelina Jolie’s 38th Birthday With Romantic Dinner In Paris

Brad Pitt organized a romantic dinner in Paris for Angelina Jolie to celebrate her 38th birthday. The news came just hours after the Paris premiere of Pitt's movie "World War Z."

According to People magazine, Brad, 49, chose the high-end wine restaurant Il Vino, owned by Enrico Bernardo, the youngest winner of the World's Best Sommelier award.

According to staff members, the couple sat alone at a table in the back of the intimate neighborhood restaurant.

"Their main plate was langoustines with a French wine," one staff member told People. "And there was a dessert - a cake, because it was her birthday."

After Angie's birthday dinner, she and Brad went to a nightclub near Montmartre, where they joined friends from the "World War Z" travel party.

Earlier that evening, reporters had asked Brad during the premiere of "World War Z" if this birthday was special, following Angelina's double mastectomy earlier this year.

"Every year is special," he said. "This year isn't any more special than other years. We're going to celebrate in the air with the kids because we're going on to the next city."

A day earlier, Angelina made her first public appearance since she announced the procedure she had undergone to radically reduce her chances of getting breast cancer. On the red carpet, Jolie wowed the media and fans as she looked radiant and beautiful in a demure black dress.

At the premiere, the press asked Pitt about Jolie's decision to go through the procedure, when he choked up, ABC News reports.

"I get a little emotional about it, because of just the act itself, what she did for our family, and then telling her story to others," he told the BBC. "What it means to others has really surprised me.

"It was a very moving experience, it certainly brought our family tighter together," Pitt said. "It's just the bravest thing to me."

Jolie seemed to feel equally as appreciative of Pitt's company and support, and said he had been nothing less than "extraordinary."

"He's such a wonderful man and a wonderful father and I'm very, very lucky," she said at the premiere.

The family will head to Berlin next.
