BTS, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, & More: Hanteo Global Reveals Top 10 on Summer Physical and Digital Album Chart from 2018-2021

BTS and TWICE are the real "Summer King and Queen" based on Hanteo Global's latest K-pop report! In the last four years, top-tier artists like SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, Red Velvet, EXO Baekhyun, and more joined the two groups in the Top 10 of Summer Physical and Digital Album Chart.

On September 16, global groups BTS and TWICE have been found to have played a big role in summer season albums and digital music charts in recent years.

In particular, Hanteo Global, the operator of Hanteo Chart and Whosfan, published the eighth part of its Hanteo Global K-pop Report.

In their data, the company analyzed K-pop trends by limiting the data during the summer season (June-August) from 2018 to 2021.

The Hanteo Global Report released a list of artists who ranked on the summer physical album and digital music charts.

In both charts, BTS firmly maintained their "Summer King" position after appearing as No. 1 from 2018 to 2021, except in the physical album chart in 2020 – wherein the global superstar didn't have any release during summer.

Meanwhile, BTS, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM entered the top 3 on this year's summer physical album chart, while BTS, IU, and Brave Girls completed the Top 3 rankings for the digital music chart.
