TWICE Reveals Meaning Behind Album Name 'Formula of Love: O+T=<3', Shares Favorite Song in the Album
Ahead of the release of their third full-length album, TWICE sat down for an interview with various Korean media outlets and gave spoilers. In the interview, the female stars conveyed the meaning behind the album's name, "Formula of Love: O+T=<3," and shared their favorite songs in the album.
On November 12, TWICE third full-length album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" and its title track "SCIENTIST" herald a simultaneous release around the world on noon KST (November 11, 10 p.m. EST).
Before the release, TWICE directly told the story of the credit guarantee through its agency JYP Entertainment, and shared stories about the album themselves.

In the interview, members Jihyo and Jeongyeon explained that there is actually a deep meaning why their album was named like a formula.
"Did you know that ONCE (1) and TWICE (2) contain the hidden meaning of TWICE's third full-length album along with the meaning of hearts (<3)? I want to be with ONCE for all the upcoming albums!" Jihyo said.

In particular, TWICE is expressed as "T" and ONCE (TWICE fandom) is expressed as "O," and when the two are combined, the meaning of love is expressed as a single formula.
"It's meaningful to have a fandom name and a group name together," Jeongyeon added and emphasized that love is created with the combined synergy of the group and the fandom.
TWICE Members Recommend Their Favorite Songs from The New Album to ONCEs
While "SCIENTIST" is the title track of the album, the members also recommended other tracks from their album that fans should definitely listen to.
Nayeon introduced "Moonlight" first, a song she picked for listeners who love taking a walk or driving in the autumn evening.
Jeongyeon and leader Jihyo then both selected "Espresso," simply because they like coffee and its their favorite.
"Cactus," written and composed by Jihyo, was selected by Tzuyu along with her as well, and the maknae also wished that fans will give the song lots of love.
As for the Japanese member Momo, she chose "Rewind" with the explanation, "It's easy to hear, and its atmosphere is my favorite style, so I recommend it."
The rest of the J-line, Sana and Mina, also agreed to Momo, highlighting that the track creates a good atmosphere, especially under the autumn nights and candlelight.
Lastly, Chaeyoung and Dahyun revealed that they both like "Icon" due to its exciting beat. The latter idol also recommended "Cruel."
TWICE's "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" will kick off on November 12 at noon KST.
