SNSD Tiffany & Sooyoung Present TWICE as 'Best Female Group' at the 2021 MAMA: Why is it an Iconic Moment?
"Nation's Girl Group" Girls' Generation (SNSD) passed the baton to this generation's "NGG" TWICE as the girl group with the most "Best Female Group" trophies from Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). On December 11, the 2021 MAMA was held at CJ ENM Studio, SNSD Tiffany and Sooyoung attended the ceremony as presenters.

This is the first time in 10 years that the "I Got A Boy" singers returned at the annual awards ceremony.
"It's MAMA again with Sooyoung after 10 years. It's more meaningful to award the 'Best Female Group' award together," Tiffany said.
"I said that even if I die, I have to present the best female group award. In particular, the reason why we wanted to present the (award) is that we, Girls' Generation, have won three (same) awards at MAMA. So, I'm happy to share the joy with junior groups today," Sooyoung said, acknowledging the new winner this year.

TWICE won as the "Best Female Group" at this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards. According to fans, this is another legendary moment at the awards ceremony as the "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD presented TWICE as the new winner, a girl group referred to as third-generation's "Nation's Girl Group."

In addition to this, the SNSD members presenting the awards is deemed "passing the baton" to TWICE. The latter now holds four same trophies (2016, 2018, 2019, 2021), breaking the record of the SNSD (2011, 2013, 2015).

Tiffany Young and Choi Sooyoung of Girls' Generation showcased visuals and charisma as top girl group members at the 2021 MAMA.
During the red carpet, Tiffany Young wore a full-body see-through dress consisting of black lace. The dress highlighted Tiffany's sexy figure while still showing elegance.
Choi Sooyoung wore a trendy jacket after matching her top and bottom with intense red colors. She also drew attention for her see-through undershirt.

During the ceremony, Choi Sooyoung praised Tiffany Young's outfit, saying, "You look so cool today." Tiffany Young then took a turn on the spot and revealed she was wearing Tom Ford.
Sooyoung also showcased her outfit, confessing she was wearing Dolce.
