MAMAMOO Moonbyul Reveals the Reason She Barely Appears on Variety Shows

Since MAMAMOO's debut back in June 2014, MAMAMOO has appeared on several shows throughout the years. While some of the members are active on variety shows, such as Hwasa being a cast member of MBC's "I Live Alone" and Solar having been on KBS2's "Boss in the Mirror," fans have noticed that Moonbyul only appears on one or two variety shows per year.

For many of MAMAMOO's fans known as MooMoos, many hope to see more of the members on variety shows as they are not only talented in singing and dancing, but they are also very funny and witty, especially when put together.

In a recent video shared on December 15, which features Moonbyul's interview with fashion magazine Singles following her pictorial, the MAMAMOO member finally addressed the topic regarding her lack of appearance on variety shows so far.

In her interview called "Representative Moon Asks to Moonbyul," which shows two Moonbyuls side-by side, with one asking the other questions, Moonbyul mentioned how she is doing great in terms of her solo albums, as well as on variety shows.

She then asked herself the question, "Have you thought of any other areas you would like to try?"

To this question, Moonbyul revealed that she doesn't really go on variety shows due to her fear of how she becomes rigid. However, she does hope to be able to overcome that obstacle and appear more often on variety shows in the future.

"At first I am afraid of variety shows. I tend to become rigid when I star in them. To overcome this problem, I am thinking of trying more of these variety shows," Moonbyul explained.

She added that with her appearance on "Kick A Goal," it would become one of steps to show her real playfulness and charming personalities.

With this, we hope to see more of Moobyul on variety shows in the future!
