BTS Gets Nominated at the BRIT Awards 2022
Big Hit Music, BTS' management agency, declared that the BRIT Awards recently announced through its official website and SNS that BTS was nominated for the "International Group of The Year" award.
Moreover, BTS was also the first Korean singer to be nominated for an award in the "International Group of the Year" category during the 2021 Brit Awards held last May.
BTS is among the international artists nominated for the award which came from non-English speaking regions like ABBA, Måneskin, Silk Sonic, and The War On Drugs.

The BRIT Awards is an awards ceremony hosted by the British Record Industry Association. The nominees for each category are selected via a vote of a panel of music professionals which includes over 1,200 radio and TV DJs and hosts, broadcast executives, record label representatives, and journalists. The BRIT Awards 2022 will be held at the O2 Arena in London, the United Kingdom on February 8, 2022.
BTS Hits Another 400 Million-Views Milestone with 'Permission to Dance'
BTS' "Permission to Dance" music video has exceeded 400 million views on December 20 at 4:50 AM (KST). This is BTS' 16th music video to achieve 400 million views.
"Permission to Dance" is a light and exciting dance-pop genre song. It contains the lyrics, "You can dance as much as you like without permission."
The song topped the US Billboard's main singles chart "Hot 100" last July 24. Even after five months since its release, it still garners streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions around the world and still enters worldwide charts.

Moreover, It maintains the top spot on the latest charts of "Billboard Global 200" and "Billboard Global (excluding the US)." The "Permission to Dance" music video spreads energetic vibes as the members of BTS dance excitedly across indoor and outdoor spaces. The clear sky, the bright smiles of the seven members, and the friendly and sincere choreography using international sign language are full of things to see.
As of now, BTS has a total of 35 billion-viewed music videos.
