TWICE's 'What Is Love?' MV Reaches 600 Million Views

On December 28, JYP Entertainment posted on its official SNS a celebration photo announcing TWICE's "What Is Love?" MV, which was released on April 9, 2018, finally hit 600 million views on YouTube.

The music video reached the milestone at 5:25 AM (KST) on December 28. This is the second time since the "TT" music video reached the mark last September.

The title song, which has a similar name as TWICE's 5th mini-album "What Is Love?," was written and composed by JYP Entertainment CEO and producer Jin-Young Park. The girls transformed into iconic movie characters in the music video, which caught worldwide attention.

Moreover, the song's iconic choreography became a worldwide trend on the world's largest short video platform, TikTok. Users made their videos while dancing to the "What is Love?" chorus.

TWICE Makes Remarkable Milestones on YouTube in 2021

This year, TWICE made a remarkable feat on YouTube by acquiring a number of million views of music videos on the platform.

Their "Heart Shaker" MV hit 400 million views last December 10, "Alcohol Free" hit 200 million views on December 16.

Meanwhile, the "Feel Special" music video is nearing 400 million views as of December 28, and it is about to become TWICE's 8th 400 million views.

TWICE currently holds the record of having the highest number of music videos with millions of views, among other girl groups worldwide.

TWICE Reveals Concert Details in Japan

TWICE has confirmed their second concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan in April next year.

On December 26, TWICE made a surprise announcement of an additional venue for their world tour concert series "4TH WORLD TOUR 'III."

The announcement indicated that TWICE will hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on April 23 and 24, 2022. It will be the first face-to-face concert in the country in about two years since "TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 'TWICELIGHTS".

Meanwhile, TWICE recently sold out all seven tickets for the US concert of the fourth world tour to be held in February 2022. The previously scheduled performances in five cities of the US sold out rapidly, prompting the group to add two more venues: The Forum in LA and UBS Arena in New York.

Tickets for the two additionals also sold out quickly.

On December 25 and 26, TWICE kicked off their "TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR 'Ⅲ'" at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and met offline with ONCEs after a long time.

Their next location will be in the United States and ONCEs are hoping that they will be seeing all of the members (OT9) during the concerts in February.

As of press time, fans wish TWICE Jeongyeon a full recovery as she sat out of the concerts in Korea to focus on her health.
