BIGBANG G-Dragon's fans and supporters showed their frustrations over entertainer Youngchul following his disrespectful comment towards the K-pop icon. On Instagram, the "I'm Solo" member teased the idol for his smoking habits after initially praising him.

BIGBANG G-Dragon Receives Disrespectful Comment from 'I'm Solo' Youngchul

On January 4, Youngchul, a member of SBS Plus's hyper-realistic dating program, "I'm Solo," received fans' rage for his rude attitude towards BIGBANG G-Dragon (hereinafter GD).

In particular, the "Haru Haru" singer on Dec. 20th last year shared on his personal Instagram how he entered the HYPEAWARDS 100, a year-end list selected by world-renowned street fashion magazine, HYPEBEAST.

G-Dragon also posted a set of photos that comprised the section written about him. As a result, several fans congratulated GD for his continuous contribution to the fashion industry despite his main job as a musician.

However, Youngchul broke the atmosphere by writing a disrespectful comment to the idol.

"That's cool, Jiyong. But smoking is a bit too much. I hope you stop smoking and think about your health. Kwon Jiyong fighting is the best," the entertainment wrote. In context, on one of the featured photos in the web magazine's article, the fashion icon was seen biting a cigarette.

While some internet users initially think that Youngchul was just being concerned over the idol's health; G-Dragon fans are convinced that this is not the case. Looking at his comment, V.I.P (fandom of BIGBANG) highlighted how Youngchul casually wrote his comment, without honorifics and even addressed him using his real name as if he's a close friend or family of the idol.

Also, the celebrity is known for his "problematic" attitude. In the past, Youngchul also showed malicious behavior towards Korea's "Figure Skater Queen" Kim Yuna for leaving comments on her Instagram such as, "You gained weight, Yuna" and "You look depressed and lonely."

Davichi Kang Min Kyung Reposts a Photo of G-Dragon, But Why?

2022 just started, but G-Dragon has been embroiled in some controversies already. Aside from being disrespected by Youngchul, he was also speculated to be dating Davichi Kang Min Kyung.

On the 3rd, the singer reposted a photo of G-Dragon with the caption, "Honored." The two have little to no interaction in the music scene; thus it immediately sparked dating rumors.

However, fans explained that Min Kyung only reported his photo since the male idol is using a phone grip holder from the Davichi member's brand company, Avie Muah launched in June 2020.
