Super Junior world tour 2013 update: Super Show 5 concert in South America will be aired on Korean television channel, MBC this Saturday.

Super Junior's world tour 2013, Super Show 5, was held in several cities in South America in April of this year. Super Junior is the first Korean artist to have a tour in South America.

Super Junior's world tour kicked off in Seoul, South Korea for two days on March 23 and March 24. Super Show 5 then made stops in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru from April 21 to April 27.

The most recent concert was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 1 and June 2, and the next stop for Super Show 5 will be in Hong Kong next weekend from July 15 to 16.

MBC has announced its plans to air footage of the South America concert tour on June 8. Super Junior's fan reaction to the tour was so great that the tickets for the South America concerts were sold out as soon as they were on sale.

Over 40,000 people attended Super Show 5 in South America. Eunhyuk, a member of Super Junior, said, "It felt like a fire that is getting bigger so the South American tour was a very hopeful event for Super Junior. It motivated us to become better."

Although Super Junior member Siwon injured his shoulder at the time, he nonetheless demonstrated his professionalism by performing on stage as best as he could with his fellow members.

Super Junior also attended the "50th Anniversary of Korean Immigration to Brazil" seminar and fashion show to spread global awareness of K-Pop. The group also participated in volunteer work and promoted Korean culture in South America.

Super Show 5 has announced future locations for the rest of 2013, including Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Malaysia.
