Youtuber Lee Jin Ho Reveals 'Real' Reason Naeun Couldn't Promote New Album With APINK
Recently on February 15, former entertainment reporter-turned-Youtuber Lee Jin Ho, who is known to talk about Korean celebrities and their controversies, shared a new video through his Youtube channel regarding APINK member and actress, Naeun.
In his new video, which is titled "The reason why Son Naeun was unfairly cursed at," Lee Jin Ho revealed the "real" reason as to why Naeun didn't join APINK in the promotional activities for their special album, "HORN," which was recently released on February 14 to celebrate their 10th anniversary since their debut.

Lee Jin Ho first answered the question as to why APINK decided to delay and start their activities now to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary, and not during the day or month of their actual debut instead.
According to Lee Jin Ho, it was due to APINK member Chorong's school bullying controversy which had been under investigation since 2021. Chorong had continuously denied the allegations, and only in November was it revealed that Chorong had been falsely accused, according to police investigations.

"Park Chorong and 'A', who brought up the school violence suspicion, have been having a fierce battle with each other by publishing press releases up until January [of this year]. APINK was scheduled to release a special album to commemorate their 10th anniversary last year. However, due to the ongoing legal battle that continued up until the beginning of this year, they could hardly schedule a comeback date," Lee Jin Ho explained.
Lee Jin Ho went on to claim that the person who suffered the most during this entire time was Naeun, saying she had initially freed up her schedule to be able to promote with APINK during promotional activities for "HORN."

APINK Naeun Turned Down Offers to Promote With Group
"Son Naeun was coordinating her schedule with APINK while she was also in the process of deciding on her project. As APINK's plan didn't continue, she had to go on her acting projects," Lee Jin Ho said.
He continued, "There were a lot of projects that had sent their offers to Son Naeun. However, Son Naeun had put more weight on APINK's comeback as she had promised with her members to make a comeback as a whole group."
Because Son Naeun had put APINK as her priority, she ended up turning down several proposals. However, their comeback was postponed due to Chorong's controversy, and after much consideration, Son Naeun decided to accept a new project which coincidentally clashed with APINK's comeback activities.

"Even YG [Entertainment], who had recruited Son Naeun, couldn't wait for APINK's comeback schedule. From Son Naeun's point of view, it must have been a dilemma," the Youtuber added.
Lee Jin Ho also revealed that since Naeun joined YG Entertainment, the agency had suggested her departure from APINK. However, Naeun refused and reportedly said, "How can I throw away the group that raised me?"
Lee Jin Ho concludes, saying it is a matter of thinking whether Naeun should be criticized unilaterally for this incident.
