BLINKs would have to wait for a couple of days or weeks before they get to see BLACKPINK Rosé again.

BLACKPINK Rosé Health Update

On Monday, Feb. 28, YG Entertainment released a statement announcing that BLACKPINK Rosé tested positive for COVID-19.

The agency revealed that Roséwas preparing for her departure overseas so she had to take a COVID-19 test. The K-pop idol later learned that she was positive for the virus.

As a result, BLACKPINK Rosé canceled some of her overseas activities. The agency also confirmed that the other members of BLACKPINK all tested negative for COVID-19. The BLACKPINK members are all vaccinated.

In November 2021, BLACKPINK Lisa tested positive for COVID-19. At the time, YG Entertainment also released a statement confirming her diagnosis.

The agency also revealed that BLACKPINK Lisa did not experience any symptoms just like BLACKPINK Rosé.

Back then, BLACKPINK Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé tested negative for COVID-19.

The K-pop group is releasing two sets of collections. The first set features collector's items such as a photobook, a calendar, a photocard set, and more.

The second set features everything that's included in the first set plus a digital code card.

Other than BLACKPINK's 2022 WELCOMING COLLECTION, the group is also preparing for its upcoming comeback.

Details about their return to the music scene are still being kept under wraps. But in January 2022, BLACKPINK Jennie told BLINKs that she and her group members are working hard for their fans.

BLACKPINK Jennie also urged BLINKs to wait patiently because there will be a surprise announcement from the agency in the coming weeks.

Other sources claimed that BLACKPINK and YG Entertainment are preparing for a world tour and a new full-length album that would be released sometime this year.

More specifically, industry insiders are saying that BLACKPINK could release a new album sometime between June and July 2022.

BLINKs have been waiting for new music from their idols for quite some time. So, at one point, speculations as to when BLACKPINK's new album would be released became trending on social media.

Some BLINKs have also been urging YG Entertainment to share clues and information with them about the upcoming projects of BLACKPINK.

However, their requests have fallen on deaf ears.

For now, BLINKs can listen to their favorite BLACKPINK songs online and on music streaming platforms while waiting for the release of the group's 2022 album.
