Super Junior Heechul Reveals Reason He Broke Up With Ex-Girlfriend Was Due to a Game
On the March 27 broadcast of SBS' entertainment program, "My Little Old Boy," the cast members visit Lee Sang Min's house to hold a housewarming party.
During this episode, the cast members talked about Lee Sang Min's ring. This led the latter to ask them which member they think will most likely return on the show after getting a divorce.
To this, Super Junior and cast member Heechul recalled a time during his twenties, when he enjoyed a certain game.
Heechul on 'My Little Old Boy'
"There was a game that I really enjoyed playing when I was in my twenties, where 25 people must work together as a team to catch one boss. It was a really popular game back then," Heechul said.
Hearing this, Kim Jong Kook said that gaming is a reason for divorce. Lee Sang Min joked that hearing Heechul say that for only five seconds already made him want to get a divorce from the idol.
Continuing, Heechul then revealed that he had a scheduled game to play at night, but his now-ex-girlfriend wanted to break up with him.

Heechul on 'My Little Old Boy'
"It was 7:58 [pm] at that time. But my scheduled game appointment was at eight in the evening. I had promised them that I would be there to start playing the game together at exactly eight," he said.
Heechul Shares He Prioritizes Prior Commitments
He continued, "My girlfriend was with me at that time. At 7:58, my girlfriend told me that she wanted to break up with me. So I told her, 'Okay, go home then.' But then she started crying."
He added, "So, I told her frankly that I already had made plans with 24 people first."
Heechul on 'My Little Old Boy'
Hearing the reason Heechul broke up with his girlfriend, Lee Sang Min commented, "That is the worst."
While the other cast members commented, "That is mean though. How could you do that to her? You should have at least tried to listen to what he wanted to say."
To this, Heechul defended his actions, saying, "Well, I didn't really think like that though. She had suddenly told me she wanted to break up with me out of nowhere. But I had made this plan with those 24 people a week ago."

Heechul on 'My Little Old Boy'
Heechul added that he believes plans that were made in advance are more important to him. Even though his ex-girlfriend cried, he broke up with her and just played the game.
The cast members just shook their heads, and commented how Heechul is the worst kind of boyfriend.
