In a survey, Super Junior Leeteuk, Stray Kids Bangchan, HIGHLIGHT Doojoon, and more were selected as K-pop's strongest leaders!
Who's No. 1?
On April 28, Forbes Korea revealed the result of a survey, asking "Who is the idol with the strongest leadership among idol group leaders?", held from March 29 to April 11.
The poll aimed to select the best K-pop leaders, who lower and sacrifice themselves to make the team shine even brighter.
The survey amassed participants from 104 countries, in which Korean fans made up the highest participation rating, followed by fans from the Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, and Japan.
Super Junior Leeteuk Hailed as No. 1 K-pop's Strongest Leader
As a result of the poll, Super Junior leader Leeteuk won first place without losing his lead from the first day of voting until the last. He received 18,953 votes or 33.96 percent of the 55,811 total votes.
In particular, Leeteuk debuted in 2005 and became a leader of the originally 13-member group.
He is praised for his excellent leadership, and he often helps his members during their slump. He also prioritizes the members first in times of accidents.

Although Super Junior underwent multiple controversies and member re-organization, among others, through the years, Leeteuk remained the source of strength for the group and ELFs (Super Junior fandom).
As a leader of a 17-year-old group, Leeteuk rose as a model for leaders not just of SM Entertainment groups but K-pop groups in general.

Stray Kids' Bangchan then came in second after he received 10,583 votes or 18.96 percent of the vote.
Despite the ups and downs his group experienced, Bangchan remained the pillar of comfort and instill confidence in his team members. He prefers to give the limelight to his co-members and always supports them by personally making music for the group.
Third is Yoon Doojoon, the leader of HIGHLIGHT. Rather than being the leader on the front line, Doojoon chooses to support his co-members by standing at the back, so the can encourage the members and push them forward in times of hardships.
Of course, the leader of the global boy group BTS RM also entered the list.
He humbly calls himself "the leader is only the spokesperson of the team," but he's reliable in official situations as the charismatic leader. He leads his group to rise more.
