ONCEs are asking JYP Entertainment to extend TWICE's "Talk That Talk" promotions after one of the members tested positive for COVID-19. The agency confirmed the issue through a statement on August 24. Read on to know what happened.

TWICE Jihyo Tests Positive For COVID-19 + ONCEs Request For Longer Promotion Period
Two days before their official comeback, TWICE leader Jihyo tested positive for COVID-19. This means she will be unable to perform alongside her co-members.
After seeing the news, ONCEs are now requesting for JYP Entertainment to extend the promotions for "Talk That Talk." According to fans, Jihyo is an important part of TWICE as she is both the main vocalist and leader. They added that her stage presence is a huge boost in TWICE's performances.
Aside from that, fans are also sad that Jihyo is not going to be able to meet ONCEs face to face because of her current condition. The TWICE member has been so excited to perform.
Unfortunately, she cannot participate in the group's 1st week of comeback promotions.
JYP Entertainment Releases Statement + TWICE Jihyo Assures ONCEs She Will Recover Soon
In a short statement, JYP Entertainment broke the news to fans who have been patiently waiting for TWICE's return.

We are sad to inform you that TWICE member Jihyo tested positive for COVID-19 antigen testing on August 24th.
Jihyo tested positive for the self-diagnosis kit at 10:30 AM and is currently quarantined, following the guidelines from the health department.
We apologized for causing concerns among TWICE's fans and related people.
We will prioritize our artist's health and put our best effort into her quick and healthy recovery.
Thank you"
JYPE releases statement about Jihyo's condition.
Following this, TWICE Jihyo also posted her heartfelt message to ONCEs on Bubble.
Jihyo asked for forgiveness from the fans as she was not able to take care of herself and that she should have been more careful because of the virus.

TWICE Releases 'Talk That Talk' MV Teaser
On August 23, TWICE released the first music video teaser for the title track of their 11th mini-album "BETWEEN 1&2"
In the video, the members are all spies looking cool and chic in all-black 'fits as they work together to solve an international problem.
TWICE will release a new mini album "BETWEEN 1&2" on August 26 at 1:00 p.m. KST.
The title song "Talk That Talk" harmonizes with an exciting beat and an addictive melody with a lovely message, "Tell me everything in your heart!"
Composer Lee Woo-min, also known as collapsedone, who made TWICE hits songs "KNOCK KNOCK" and "The Feels," was also in charge of composing and producing the new track.

Meanwhile, the famous K-pop lyricist team, Danke, wrote the lyrics and completed them. Jihyo participated as the sole lyricist for the b-side song along with members Dahyun and Chaeyoung.
