But recently on August 23, dating rumors between the two were once again sparked after a new alleged photo of V and Jennie surfaced online.
In the latest photo, V can be seen getting ready as he gets his hair styled by a stylist. The photo was taken in a form of a mirror selfie, with a female, who is allegedly Jennie, the one taking the photo.

Based on V's clothing, it seemed that the photo was taken prior to V's departure to Paris, France to attend Celine Men's Summer 2023 Fashion show for Paris Fashion Week back in June. In fact, he flew out to Paris with BLACKPINK member Lisa, who is Celine's ambassador, and actor Park Bo Gum.

Nevertheless, the newly surfaced photo of the two has once again caused chaos online. Many are trying to figure out the authenticity of the photo and how it got leaked to the public as it was allegedly taken from Jennie's phone.
Many have started raising theories behind the photo's origin, one involving Australian singer Troye Sivan.
Some have began claiming that the photo may have been leaked from Jennie's private Instagram account, and is drawing attention that Troye Sivan may be the one who caused the leak.

According to netizens' reasoning, they found that Troye Sivan had followed Jennie's private Instagram account, and thus concluded that this may have been the starting point of V and Jennie's latest photo together getting leaked.
However, netizens have no proof of these claims, leaving it as a mere speculation.

YG Entertainment Briefly Responds to V and Jennie's Dating Rumors
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment briefly issued a statement on August 24, responding to V and Jennie's ongoing dating rumors.
After reports stating that V and Jennie are heading to New York and claiming that the two would be together and potentially have a date there, YG Entertainment responded, saying:
"BLACKPINK intends on carrying out a their very tightly packed schedule once they leave on August 25, including attending the MTV VMAs, as well as various other schedules for their second full album comeback."
