Another photo believed to be taken by Jennie and V started circulating on August 25. This time, it was an affectionate mirror selfie. The background is similar to mirror selfies V has shared in the past, leading people to believe it was taken in the male idol's apartment.

On August 25, My Daily released a report criticizing the agencies for not releasing a statement.

The reporter stated, "Both agencies normally do not make official statements concerning the private life of their artists, but the issue now is not just about V and Jennie's romantic relationship. Now, it revolves around the two controversial photos that were revealed. It is completely different from the first one that caused V and Jennie's dating rumor to spark."
When the first dating rumor between the two broke out, the photo of the two in a car was taken by a different person. However, all the new images are reportedly taken by Jennie herself.

The reporter added, "Because of this, netizens are theorizing that photos from Jennie's private SNS account might have been hacked. If the photos were leaked by hackers, it could be considered a criminal act. Therefore, a strong and immediate response is vital to prevent further damage to the artists."
Additionally, the reporter stated, "If the agencies do not respond to the leaked photos and remain silent on the dating rumors, Jennie and V will be the ones who will suffer the damages."

An SBS reporter expressed a similar opinion, saying that there is a high possibility Jennie's account was hacked, and her private life was revealed without her consent. "In addition, the fact that the SNS account that spread these photos is not in South Korea, there are suspicious that hackers are attacking Jennie."
When the photo on August 23 was leaked, fans expressed concern about the possibility of more photos being released. Then another photo was leaked, but the agencies remained quiet.
