HYBE Removed Huh Yunjin From LE SSERAFIM's Debut Lineup
Recently on August 25, LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yunjin made a guest appearance on Naver NOW's show Who Are You, hosted by Lee Seung Yoon.
During her appearance, Huh Yunjin revealed a shocking fact about her journey to debut as a member of LE SSERAFIM. On the show, she revealed that she was once fired from her labels, HYBE and Source Music, which prompted her to return to her home in the United States during her trainee days.

She revealed that the reason for her being fired was due to her failing the labels' monthly evaluation test. Huh Yunjin said, "We had this evaluation test that is done once a month, and I was cut during one before making my debut. I was basically fired [by the label]."
Because she was no longer a trainee under a label, she eventually returned to her home in the United States, where she was preparing to just live a normal life after supposedly failing to become a K-pop idol.

While at the United States preparing for college, Huh Yunjin still felt at odds as she still wanted to pursue music. She said, "After I came back home to the United States, I was preparing to go to college as a business major. But I was having mixed feelings because I really wanted to do music and I just couldn't give it up."

Huh Yunjin Was Able to Join LE SSERAFIM's Debut Lineup Again
But with her lucky stars, Huh Yunjin was able to return to HYBE and Source Music a year and a half after being fired. She revealed that it was the labels that had contacted her and asked her to return!
"After being accepted into college, which was around a year and a half after I left the labels, they contacted me and asked if I wanted to come back," the "FEARLESS" singer shared.
With her gut feeling and giving trainee life another try, she was eventually able to debut with LE SSERAFIM. "I felt like everything that I had been preparing for was for this very moment," Huh Yunjin expressed.

Meanwhile, Huh Yunjin first came to public eye after competing on the Mnet survival program Produce 48, in which she took part in as a trainee under Pledis Entertainment.
Following HYBE acquiring Pledis Entertainment, she was moved to Source Music where she continued her training and made her debut with LE SSERAFIM in May 2022.
