On September 10, South Korean internet users took to community forums to point out the idols were spotted wearing the same outfit. The items were from an affordable local brand called "dibs," sold by Musinsa.

Many speculated the outfits were given to one another as birthday gifts. Mina's birthday was on May 16, while Jeno's was on May 23.
