EXO Lay Drops MV For New Single 'VEIL'

On September 21, Lay released his new digital single, "VEIL," along with its MV on various music platforms including Spotify and YouTube.

In particular, the Chinese K-pop idol, who is currently active in his homeland, has been working hard to achieve his aim of bringing M-Pop (Mando-pop) to life.

In the music video, the song combines various elements and adds traditional oriental musical instruments to pop music, hoping to tell the world more about his hometown.

Not only did the song perform with a fun beat, but the MV also attracted fans for its visual explosion. It especially flaunts the high quality of visual arts used in the MV, not to mention that the face of the idol is a masterpiece itself.

On top of that, Lay attracted a mass of music fans due to the song's melody and its impressive dance choreography.

On the same day, Sehun stirred EXO-Ls into exhilaration after updating his Instagram story. But they became even more delighted following the content of the IG post, proving the male idol will always be the biggest EXO supporter, and Xingmi/XBACK (Lay's solo fandom).

In particular, the maknae posted showed his support for co-member Lay's new release and wrote the caption, "Lay Zhang 'Veil'."

Following his IG story, it became a hot topic among EXO-Ls on SNS particularly on Twitter, conveying their happiness about his action. Some of the fans wrote:

This is not the first time Sehun showed love for Lay although they were currently apart. Last year, he also promoted Lay's audition for his music agency Chromosome Entertainment along with Xiumin.

Reposting the latter's Instagram story, Lay wrote:

"Thank you, Sehun~ah~ Hyung really enjoyed your performance as well. It's cool. Let's perform together on the stage later."

Although it wasn't clearly stated, EXO-Ls speculated that Lay had seen Sehun's special appearance in "Street Man Fighter," wherein he performed for Mihawk's 1MILLION, EXO's choreographer and close friend.

Aside from praising Sehun, Lay also piqued fans' excitement after hinting at the possibility of a comeback with him or with the group in the future, following "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING," his most recent release with EXO.
