Kep1er Transforms Into Girl Heroes Through Third Mini-Album 'TROUBLESHOOTER'

"Rookie Monster" Kep1er, comprised of Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Young Eun and Kang Yeseo made its speedy return to the K-pop scene with a new album!

On October 13 at 6 p.m. KST, the girl group's third mini-album, "TROUBLESHOOTER" was officially unveiled on various online music sites, gaining attention from K-pop fans, especially Kep1ians (fandom).

In particular, "TROUBLESHOOTER" is a word that means "problem solver," which explains Kepler's transformation into nine girl heroes who happily solve problems.

The album is comprised of a total of five songs, including the title track, "We Fresh." The song is an uptempo dance genre that combines a rock guitar and an exciting house beat. Just by listening to it, K-pop fans can feel its powerful performance with a strong desire to convey the message of hope.

With this song, Kep1er specifically wants to say, "You can achieve anything despite challenges if (we) are together, being fearless amid difficulties."

The other songs including "Lion Tamer" then showcase Kep1er's own charm, "Downtown," a witty song comparing Kep1er's journey from their dream to triumphant and "Dreams" which captured fans' hearts as if they were moving a fantasy novel. The fifth song is a remastered version of its song, "The Girls (Can't Turn Me Down).

Meanwhile, ahead of its album's official release, Kep1er held a media showcase to commemorate the release of its third mini-album "TROUBLESHOOTER" at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul in the afternoon of the 13th.

Kepler returned in about four months after its second mini-album "DOUBLAST," which was released in June.

When asked about the strengths of this comeback, the group's leader Choi Yujin expressed confidence, saying:

"It's our fourth album, including the Japanese album, and now we know each other's feelings just by looking into each other's eyes even if we don't talk. I think that synergy is really important on stage. So I think we can show everyone a better stage.

 I also think that my vocal and performance skills have improved a lot."

Regarding the MV's concept, Kep1er explained:

"In this album, each member has a given ability. It has a message that if you put that ability together, you can do anything."

As for their advantages compared to other girl groups, the members responded:

"When I first heard this song, I thought it suited us well. I think our strength is our performance, and I think we can show our performance charm with this song"

Kim Dayeon also pointed out their strength as an "all-rounder" girl group.

Lastly, when asked about their goals with this comeback, Hikaru replied:

"I want to win first place in music programs with 'We Fresh.' If we win first place, I will randomly change the parts among the members and sing it."
