BLACKPINK Performs Two-Day Concert in Seoul

At 5 PM KST on October 16 BLACKPINK held their concert "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] in SEOUL" at KSPO DOME (Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The stadium grounds were crowded with fans from all over the world who came to watch BLACKPINK.

True to the title "BORN PINK," the concert symbolized BLACKPINK's worldview by bringing together colorful directing, high-quality music, and various objects symbolizing "BORN PINK." The BLACKPINK members were very involved in the creative planning for the project, from panning the stage, set list, and more.

During the concert, Lisa expressed her nervousness yet excitement to fans, saying, "I was very nervous during the concert yesterday, but I thought I can have fun today. However, when I actually went on stage, I was just as nervous as yesterday."

Jisoo expressed her happiness to kick off their world tour in Seoul, saying, "After four years, we are about to go on a world tour. We are happy that it started in Seoul."

Afterward, Jennie asked fans to sing along as the group performed several of their hit singles. The girl group performed "Don't Know What To Do," "Lovesick Girls," "KILL THIS LOVE," "Crazy Over You," and "Playing With Fire."

After performing eight songs, BLACKPINK walked towards the extended stage and spoke with fans at a closer distance.

Jennie drew attention by making a cute complaint to BLINKs who were busy filming the concert with their cell phones. She told fans, "After today's concert, many videos will be uploaded. So I hope you enjoy it. It is like having a concert with cell phones."

Jennie's adorable quip sparked laughter among concert-goers.

Jennie was previously embroiled in dating rumors with V and BTS after a hacker leaked private photos of the two. In response to the leak and distribution, YG Entertainment announced on October 3 that they would take strong legal action concerning the incident.

On the other hand, after the concert in Seoul, BLACKPINK will head to North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The world tour has a projected audience of 1.5 million people, the largest for a K-pop girl group.
