On October 29, 2022, (G)I-DLE appeared in Kstar Next Door as the main character. In this episode, Miyeon returned as a special host and had a twerking battle with Shuhua, Yuqi and Minnie battled for BLACKPINK Lisa, and the girls shared a behind-the-scenes for the new title track, 'Nxde.'

(G)I-DLE Opens Up About Group Conflicts

Together since 2018, the quintet girl group from Cube Entertainment do not just see each other as bandmates, but as a family already. And just like any other family, the girls often experience misunderstandings among one another.

(G)I-DLE's main dancer and face of the group, Yuqi, is known for her forthright and unfiltered comments. It is an open book to NEVERLANDs that this aspect of Yuqi often gets her entangled with their leader, Soyeon.

On the recently uploaded episode of Kstar Next Door, Jonathan, the host, mentioned about this and Yuqi could not help but express her confirmation.

Soyeon clarified that arguments may be there, but they never escalated into a serious one as Yuqi and her are always willing to fix the issues and "do not hold grudges" against one another. Alongside, immediately addressing the issue is the girls' way to avoid getting hard feelings towards one another.

Additionally, Soyeon said she appreciates it whenever Yuqi initiates a confrontation, thus allowing them to convey their opinions on the matter and end up compromising in the name of the group.

"I like people who share honest opinions, so we often bump into each other. But it's like fighting your family. That's how it ends." - Soyeon

After the discussion between Yuqi and Soyeon, the episode's special host, Miyeon, added that conflict does not just happen between Yuqi and Soyeon, however, applies to the whole group as well.

After four years of being together, it is unavoidable that the girls encounter holding back their grudges and experience feeling irritation. But (G)I-DLE does not let the situation overheat before resolving it.

Being one of the most successful girl groups outside the "Big Three" labels, it is important for (G)I-IDLE to understand one another to collectively grow. Consequently, the girls view honest communication which comprises expressing negative emotions, as a method to understand and sympathize with one another.
