In his recent broadcast appearance, GOT7 Jackson reveals a huge issue he encounters whenever he is in Korea these days.

GOT7 Jackson Reveals He Lost Weight to Look Better for Performances

Recently on October 27, Running Man star Kim Jong Kook shared a new video up on this Youtube channel Gym Jong Kook. In this new video, GOT7 member Jackson appeared as a guest and visited the gym with Kim Jong Kook to work out together.

When the two entered the gym, Kim Jong Kook commented about Jackson's rather comfortable gym attire, which he paired with Louis Vuitton slippers that did not look suitable for any intense workouts. "You are dressed like you are going for a walk around your apartment complex or something," Kim Jong Kook commented.

Although Jackson often did this workouts while wearing a jacket, Kim Jong Kook told him to just take it off, which he ended up doing and just wore his sleeveless shirt.

While at the gym, Kim Jong Kook taught Jackson some exercises to help strengthen his shoulders. As they were working out, Kim Jong Kook noticed that Jackson lost a bit of weight. "It seems like you had lost some weight. But you still have a lot of muscles on your shoulders. I can see that," the Running Man star said.

Hearing this, Jackson explained that he used to be a national fencing athlete. And that he indeed lost weight, but on purpose, for his performances.

"Well, I used to be a fencer, you know. And yes, I have lost weight. I weighed like 75kg before when I was actively appearing on television shows. But now I am 62kg. I went on a diet, because it is more preferred to look slimmer as a singer," Jackson explained.

As the two continue to workout intensively, with Jackson experiencing the "Spartan" workout, he ended up saying out of breath, "I can't feel my arms now. I didn't even work out this much when I was still a fencer."

At the end of their gym session, Jackson thanked Kim Jong Kook for the workout, which he once again reiterated was more intense than what he did when he was still a national athlete.

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to join you for a workout today. It was a little different to the kinds of workouts that I did when I was still a part of the national junior fencing team in Hong Kong, but it was fun," Jackson said.

A few moments later, Jackson then expressed his desire to actively promote in South Korea once again as a solo artist. Hilariously he reveals that he is "quite desperate" to appear on a show, and that he has "difficulty" in surviving.

"I would love to be contacted to do something here [in Korea]. I hope the producers will reach out to me to join their show or something. I am quite desperate. I am having a difficult time surviving these days," Jackson hilariously pleads.

He then reveals another issue he has due to not promoting in Korea like in the past - which is not being recognized on the streets!

"I am serious. When I walk around outside, I don't get disturbed or recognized nowadays. It is too okay for me to do anything I want that I feel like I have got to do something. I have been out of Korea for so long as well. I really want to start doing something in Korea again," Jackson said.

It was also revealed that Jackson ended up appearing on Kim Jong Kook's Youtube channel as he wanted to be on it. However, he reveals that he didn't expect the show to be like this, and that he didn't know he would need to work out this much, bringing everyone to laughter.
