BLACKPINK's 'BORN PINK' Concert Tickets Get Canceled

Taiwan's local news outlet Taiwan News reported that four tickets sold during the official ticket sale on November 10 got canceled after Live Nation Taiwan found out they were scalped soon after.

The tickets were sold out within a minute following a four-round pre-sale. Originally, the tickets were priced at $276. However, four of those tickets were posted on well-known e-commerce platforms, being sold for more than 45 times the original price.

BLACKPINK Reaches New Milestone

In other news, Circle Chart - formerly known as Gaon Chart - confirmed that BLACKPINK's studio album "BORN PINK" earned a double million certification.

Circle Chart announced on November 10 and named the 11 albums that successfully surpassed the new certification system released by the Korea Music Content Industry Association in 2018.

BLACKPINK previously made history by becoming the first Korean girl group to score double platinum in the same streaming certification. It made the feat happen through its hit song, "DDU-DU DDU DU."

Aside from BLACKPINK, BTS also savored victory as its 2020 album, "Map of the Soul: 7," earned a quintuple million certification. It ultimately became the first album in Korean history to sell over 5 million copies.

TWICE, aespa, Nayeon, TXT, NMIXX, NCT 127, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, MeloMance's Kim Min Seok, sokodomo, D-Hack, and Pateko also appeared on the list.

In addition to Circle Chart's recognition, BLACKPINK also set a new record with "How You Like That," the lead single of its first Korean-language full-length album. The track is now the first song by K-pop female act to reach 700 million streams on Spotify as of November 9.

The song hit the milestone after two years, four months, and two weeks after its official release.
