ASTRO Rocky Criticized for Recent Behaviors Following Dating Rumors With Park Bo Yeon

On Oct. 31, ASTRO Rocky and Park Bo Yeon were both entangled in dating rumors after the latter celebrity was spotted attending the musical "The Three Musketeers" starring Rocky on Oct. 30.

Now, a few weeks after that, the male idol has become a hot topic for a different reason. The discussion began after one netizen created a lengthy post on the online forum TheQoo, detailing what they noticed about the singer's attitude and behavior recently that they find "insincere."

The netizen said that ASTRO Rocky's personality was not always that way, but once he started "dating" Park Bo Yeon, it became more severe.

First, the netizen said that ASTRO has six members, but the oldest member, MJ, is currently serving in the military and Cha Eunwoo is on a tour for his solo fan meeting and he's also busy with drama filming. Hence, only four members are carrying out activities as ASTRO this year.

The netizen then pointed out that the four members- Moonbin, JinJin, Sanha, and Rocky- went overseas and when they were doing their V LIVE broadcast, Rocky said that he was too tired, so he didn't join them in the live stream. He also refused to play with his members.

The netizen added, "The other members were all shooting vlogs and he's the only one with none," referring to when the boys were overseas.

The poster also pointed out that while the five ASTRO members had decorations and "pretty cake" when they each held a birthday live broadcast on V LIVE this year, Rocky didn't have any.

They said, "Even during their birthday VApp, they always decorate the background in their company and they also prepare a pretty cake. But he's the only one in his work room and just bought a cake from Paris Baguette, which shows no sincerity."

The netizen then attached a photo of ASTRO Rocky that was taken when he arrived in Thailand. In the picture, his face was covered with what seems to be a hoodie of a jacket.

Later on, the netizen shared a tweet made by a fan of Rocky and explained that the fan was talking about how much he likes Rocky and how she edits all of his preview pictures and takes 100 photos of him. However, the male idol "lacked gratefulness" and asked her to start taking pictures while lying down on the floor to make him look taller.

The fan then replied to her own tweet with, "I almost told him 'you should've just been born taller then."

The netizen also shared a tweet showing a video of ASTRO Rocky preparing his bed.

The netizen said:

"This is what was released in their self-content recently, the members kept asking him to play with them. But he kept insisting he didn't want to do it and in the end, he just closed the door of his room and ate alone. He's just there rearranging sheets and looking at his phone, then he falls asleep."

The poster then shared a tweet showing the greeting of ASTRO members and a gif featuring the members cheering for the students who will take the SAT (Scholastic Ability Test).

It was pointed out that Rocky didn't do the greeting properly and that while the members were cheering for the students at the end, he only bowed.

Finally, the netizen shared a tweet of a fansite who quit the fandom of ASTRO. The tweet, which was about Rocky, reads:

"No but... He's kind, haha... He's kind but, hahaha. He should at least love what he does and work hard, he should also be working hard with fanservice, right? Hahaha. Honestly, Rocky's fans feel bullied by him and it's been so long. Hahaha. We let it slide because he may be tired, but there's a limit to everything. Hahaha."

In the end of the TheQoo post, the netizen said:

"For reference, he didn't show up for 7 months in their paid interaction app. And during the group's debut anniversary, the fan club anniversary, and other celebrations, even during their sixth anniversary, he's the only one who didn't release anything on SNS.

Rocky is part of the dance line and he's also a rapper. There's 3 months left in his contract."
