The former GFRIEND member who was once linked to BTS Jungkook is SinB. Their dating rumors spread back in 2017 after a netizen found several pieces of "evidence" of their relationship. That netizen took to the online community Nate Pann to share those "proofs" and the post became a hot topic. The post, however, has since been deleted.

One of the "proofs" is when Jungkook uploaded a video of him playing a game on BTS's Twitter account on March 27, 2017. His username for the game was then revealed in that clip- it was Mickey Bok Guk.

The netizen then compared his nickname to former GFRIEND SinB's nicknames, one of which is "Bokbi." She got that moniker as she often pouts, which makes her look like a blowfish. So "Bokbi," a compound word of Blowfish (in Korean) and SinB, became her nickname.

While this makes it look like a coincidence, the netizen posted two videos, which suggest that their nicknames aren't a coincidence.

The first video shows the GFRIEND members picking a card with syllables and SinB chose the one with "Kook" and Sowon teased her about it as if she was referring to BTS Jungkook.

The second video features a performance of GFRIEND and SEVENTEEN at what seems to be an award show. The netizen explained that Jungkook's reaction while watching appeared like he was "pissed off", as Jeonghan's partner in the performance at that time was SinB.

Another "evidence" that sparked BTS Jungkook's dating rumors with GFRIEND SinB were their song recommendations. These two recommended four similar songs by singers who fans aren't familiar with: Sweden Laundry's "Voice," Lucia's "Ophelia," 40 (Forty)'s "Sing the Spring," and Youngha's "Pray."

In addition to that, the netizen also pointed out that Jungkook and SinB both are sensitive to scent and like lamb skewers (which have strong likes and dislikes because of their unique flavor).

Next, at the Seoul Music Awards in 2016, Jungkook made a gesture during BTS's performance. It was a random thing that didn't match with the songs the group worked on that year. In particular, he made himself look like a blowfish, which is often related to SinB like what was mentioned above.

The netizen also shared a clip of BTS dancing to GFRIEND's "Glass Bead" and it was pointed out that Jungkook seemed and was energetically dancing to the song.

There were moments of BTS Jungkook and former GFRIEND SinB from ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships) that were included as "proofs" of their relationship. It is said that the male idol was seen looking at the female artist several times, as well as SinB looking at him.

Finally, the netizen noted that during their appearance on "Knowing Bros," GFRIEND asked the cast members to guess the songs they want their boyfriends to sing for them, show host Kim Heechul suddenly mentioned BTS's "I Need You" and even danced and sang the chorus.
